Raid Foodstandards Agency
Raid, follows the food control when they pay the dabblers a visit!
Each Dane eats more than 1 ton of food every year. But kitchens with poor hygiene and illegal import of harmful food mean that more than 50,000 Danish people get ill every year of eating bad food. Therefore food control makes sure that our food is produced under decent conditions, and that unhealthy food does not cross the Danish border.
RAID has exclusive access when food specialists across the country move out on unannounced visits. They chase down dangerous health supplies, illegal slaughterhouses and illegal vegetables filled with herbicides. We are looking over their shoulders when they go into the restaurant's kitchen, looking for those who are sloppy - and those who don’t clean properly. And we are there when specialists trace the source of infection for major disease outbreaks dating back to the field from which they came from.
